Music & Masterpieces 2008 is a premier public art event presented by the Omaha Symphony Guild and hosted by the merchants of Rockbrook Village.

Selected artists create both exterior and interior art pieces.  "Fun," "whimsical," and "stately" are just a few of the words used to describe these unique art pieces.  The artwork will be displayed outdoors throughout the Village and will also be located inside specific businesses and shops.  The art display starts August 7th and ends with a public art auction on September 18th.

Music & Masterpieces combines the spirit of giving with a celebration of the creative spirit.  You are invited to stroll Rockbrook Village, enjoy the art and attend all of the upcoming activities associated with this art event.  A percentage of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Omaha Symphony Guild to support the education programs of the Omaha Symphony.

Celebrating its 51st year, the Omaha Symphony Guild is an organization dedicated to promoting and supporting all of the Omaha Symphony’s education programs. These programs reach pre-K to college-age students. The programs include: Mission Imagination, Instrument Petting Zoos, Celebrate Creativity, Margre Durham’s Concerts for Youth, Music Alive!, Carnegie Hall’s Communities LinkUP!, and New Music Symposium for young composers. These programs are designed to cultivate music into the lives of the young people and to provide them with knowledge and appreciation for orchestral music and the arts.
