
Anne Nye is originally from the Pacific Northwest; however, she studied fine art at the University of Idaho
and at the California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland. She has worked as a graphic and fine artist in many parts of the country including Hawaii and she has even worked in Spain.
Anne began working in fused glass in 2000, yet she also creates mixed media pieces which combines her first love of painting on wood panels and fused glass accents. She now resides in Omaha with her husband, Richard, who works alongside of her.
She is a member of the American Craft Guild, the Glass Arts Society and the Museum of Nebraska Art. Galleries that have shown Anne's work are Bizarre in Elkhorn, NE; Blue Pomegranate in Omaha; Corner House Gallery in Cedar Rapids, IA; From Our Hands in Des Moines, IA; Heller Art Images in Omaha; and White Crane in Omaha.
